The Europaballett St. Pölten welcomes the year 2023 together with stars from opera and operetta on 07.01. in the Theater des Balletts. With a new program, mixed from well-known opera and operetta melodies, the popular entertainer Wolfgang Gratschmaier provides for a varied evening. In 2023 the original Viennese salon orchestra and naturally also dancing interludes of the European ballet are present. The tenor David Sitka, Alla Perchikova and Andrea Witte (mezzo-soprano) will perform as soloists. David Sitka celebrated his debut at the Vienna Volksoper as Fenton in Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor. He can currently be seen this season in The Magic Flute, The Merry Widow and My Fair Lady. Andrea Witte never fails to charm with effortlessly placed top notes and a refreshing virtuosity. The German soprano Alla Perchikova has been a winner of many international singing competitions and is well known not only in Germany but also on major stages including Mariinsky, Opera Israel, Alte Oper Frankfurt.
