Hungarian operetta is characterized by dance, song and humorous interludes. Unforgettable sounds of the classical operetta, spiced with original Hungarian folk dance and classically danced ballet interludes will be presented on November 26 at the Theater des Balletts in St. Pölten.

Singers such as Katalin Benedekffy from the Kolozsvár Opera House, Béla Turpinszky Gippert from the Budapest State Opera, Adrien Szegő from the Madách Theatre in Budapest and János Szabolcs Kádár from the Veszprém Theatre will perform to the music of Emmerich Kálmán, Franz Lehár and Johann Strauss. An absolute highlight, besides the dance performances of the European Ballet and the Pendelyes folk dance group from Sopron, will certainly be the performances of László Bóbis (two-time tap world champion) with his partner Marcell Csömör.
