The operetta "Die Fledermaus" by Johann Strauss is presented in a production by Wolfgang Gratschmaier and with choreography by Michael Fichtenbaum. The plot is set in a seaside resort near a large city. The operetta's backstory revolves around Mr. von Eisenstein, who lets the notary Dr. Falke wander the streets drunk and disguised as a bat after a night at the ball. This is an embarrassing situation for the notary, who is henceforth known as Dr. Fledermaus. He decides to take revenge on Eisenstein. How this "revenge of the bat" takes place is told in the operetta. Celebrate the end of the year with the Europaballett and this unique production.
