The renowned German choreographer Reiner Feistel was our guest last week and rehearsed intensively for the eagerly awaited revival of the dance theater"The Little Prince", which premieres on March 8.
"The Little Prince" was developed in 2017 as a co-production with the Croatian National Theatre. Reiner Feistel is not only responsible for the production, but also for the choreography, which transports the audience into the world of the Little Prince. The costumes and stage design were created by Stefan Wiel, while Mathias Henkel recorded the texts.
In the leading roles, you will see the Brazilian dancer Leonardo Germano as the Little Prince and Benjamin Skupien as the Pilot. The eleven students of the Ballet Academy are also involved in this production.
The story of the play is timeless and touching: a pilot has to make an emergency landing in the Sahara due to technical problems and finds himself in a life-threatening situation. In his loneliness, he meets a little fellow - the little prince - who takes him on a journey through various planets. On this journey, the pilot not only learns a lot about the little prince, but also about friendship, love and responsibility.
The little prince's encounters with various adults vividly show how often we lose sight of the essentials in everyday life. But through his friendship with the fox, the little prince finally realizes that the essentials are invisible and that you can only see well with your heart.
We cordially invite you to relive this moving story and be enchanted by the magic of dance. Join us on March 8 as we immerse ourselves in the world of the Little Prince!
