On October 13, the Europaballett St. Pölten danced again in Worms (Germany) and brought Peter Breuer's Carmen/Boléro to the stage. Breuer combines the story of Prosper Mérimée and the "Carmen Suite" by Rodion Shchedrin with the music of Radio Tarifa. The soloists were Nichika Shibata as Carmen and Florient Cador as Don José.
The brilliant finale was "Boléro", based on Schnitzler's "Der Reigen". The 15-minute abstract choreography showed the various facets of human relationships with a special passion that only dance can.
The audience expressed their enthusiasm with plenty of applause for the dancers.
We are delighted to be back at the Wormser on November 13. Once again with a ballet by Peter Breuer: Moonwalk. Moonwalk is a tribute to the unforgettable music of Michael Jackson. The ballet combines music with dance and tells the life story of the King of Pop in a very special way.
