On December 28, visitors to our stage were treated to "Die Fledermaus", which featured an impressive ensemble. Natalia Ushakova shone in the role of Rosalinde and transported the audience into the cheerful world of operetta-like intrigue and confusion with her radiant voice.
Stephen Chaundy sang alongside her as Eisenstein, while Georg Lehner mastered the role of Director Frank with bravura. Renée Schüttengruber shone as Prince Orlofsky and Wolfgang Gratschmaier impressed as Alfredo. Agnes Palmisano as Dr. Falke, and Laurentia Andreea Paraschiv in the role of Adele. The versatile KS Ursula Pfitzner took on the roles of Dr. Blind, Ida and Frosch.
The Fledermaus Quartet, under the direction of Angelika Ortner, provided a musical treat.
Wolfgang Gratschmaier's production and Michael Fichtenbaum's choreography conjured up a rousing atmosphere on stage. The classic work by Johann Strauss II was reinterpreted with great visual and aural pleasure and left a lasting impression.
There is good news for anyone who missed this performance! "Die Fledermaus" will be performed again on December 29 and 31.
