EUROPABALLETT opened the EUROPAFORUM WACHAU in front of high-ranking political celebrities and ORF III. Sarah de Luca, Florient Cador, Mariella and Daniela Fichtenbaum and Leonard Preiss danced to music by W.A. Mozart (from "Die Zauberflöte", "Die Entführung aus dem Serail", "Le petit Riens - Larghetto") under the choreography of Michael Fichtenbaum. They were accompanied by soloists Mariella Hofbauer and Andreas Drescher. An enthusiastic audience, including Governor Johann Mikl Leitner, Federal Chancellor Karl Nehammer, Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg, former Prime Minister Theres May, Minister Karoline Edstadler, EU Vice-President of the Commission Josep Borrell Fontelles, the President of the Wachau Forum LR Martin Eichtinger and the Foreign Ministers from Albania, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, Kosovo, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina and North Macedonia, applauded enthusiastically.
