Spring Gala 2024

On March 16, we opened the spring with a ballet gala that presented a finely selected selection of modern and classical choreographies. Under the direction of Michael Fichtenbaum, the audience were given an insight into the upcoming Swan Lake performances, for which rehearsals have already been underway for two months.

Special highlights were the Spanish and Neapolitan dances as well as the variation of the friend Benno, danced by Benjamin Skupien.

Esther Feng, a talented dancer from Malaysia, celebrated her debut at the Europaballett with a modern solo that she had choreographed herself.

Also impressive was the premiere of the new piece "Aquamarine" by Florient Cador together with Aoi Iguchi, accompanied by the music of Joe Hisaishi.

The youngest Academy members delighted the audience with a tarantella rehearsed by Kristina Chantal. The completely sold-out performance even led to the planning of an additional performance on March 22.
